Miriam Merin, LCSW, is a Swiss-American psychotherapist dedicated to helping clients live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Miriam’s approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and insight-oriented. Her goal is to help her clients know themselves more fully, exploring how past experiences and relationships shape the way they view themselves and the world.

Miriam graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University, where she studied education history & policy. She went on to earn two master’s degrees — one in higher education from the University of Oxford, and one in social work from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship and graduated with Phi Alpha Honors. Miriam also holds a post-master’s clinical certificate in psychodynamic psychotherapy from Bryn Mawr College.

Isaac Reed, LMFT

Isaac Reed, LMFT, is a psychotherapist who brings both clinical training and leadership experience to his work with clients.

Isaac earned his BA in Psychology, completing his undergraduate studies at Denison and Eastern Washington University, where he also competed as a collegiate track and field athlete. His background in competitive athletics continues to inform his clinical work, particularly around discipline, resilience, identity, and performance under pressure. Isaac went on to complete his graduate degree in marriage and family therapy at California Baptist University, where he developed a strong foundation in both trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment.

In addition to his role at SGP, Isaac serves as a clinical director at a residential mental health treatment center, where he helps guide treatment programming and supports fellow clinicians in delivering care.

Her approach is collaborative, practical, and person centered. She works with clients to understand the emotional and environmental factors shaping their lives, helping them build clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in biology from Roanoke College, Ready went on to complete her Master of Social Work at West Virginia University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Her clinical experience spans emergency department settings, community based services, and substance use treatment, where she has provided both individual and group counseling using evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention.

Mitch is currently completing a master’s degree in liberal studies at Georgetown University, where his work centers on communication, analysis, and the study of human systems. Together, his academic background and professional role support a thoughtful, organized, and detail-oriented approach to intake coordination and client communication.
